Space is not a pleasant place. All that airless emptiness, broken up by things like clouds of flaming plasma and sentient space beings the size of planets that would like nothing more than snacking on a passing ship. As a result, the lives of space explorers aren't all sunshine, roses, and space blasters.
That's a good thing, because in Gloom, outer-space misery loves company. Put your Characters through the interstellar wringer before they come to an ignominious end, and win the game!
Gloom in Space can be played alone or combined with Gloom second edition and its expansions.

Calling all Redshirts: Gameplay Basics
Create your ragtag band of not-so-hardy space explorers from familiar archetypes like the Doctor, the Farmboy, and the Android. Play Modifier cards on them to make them miserable — maybe the Doctor quarreled in the cantina and was beaten by bugs. Play cards on your opponents' Characters to make them disgustingly happy and successful.
As you play, the stories get more convoluted — and funnier — as you tell your fellow players exactly how your Character got into the situation. When your Characters are sufficiently miserable, kill them off to lock in your points and win the game.
As in the other Gloom games, Gloom in Space features unique transparent cards that stack atop each other to hide and reveal the Self-Worth scores from the cards below. The easy scoring and sci-fi cartoon art are guaranteed to make your table delightfully depressing.
The game ends when all of your Characters have left for the great beyond, and the winner is the player who managed to smuggle the most misery onto their ships.

General Shipping

All shipments within the contiguous USA are free for any order over $99.99. For all other items, standard shipping prices apply. Generally, orders placed with us will leave our warehouse within one business day. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, an order will take up to three to five business days to ship. If this happens we will be sure to contact you and let you know when your item will ship. Although your item may ship out immediately it may take longer than that to receive your tracking number. Tracking numbers will be sent to you via email as soon as that information becomes available to us. Generally, we will ship all orders via UPS. We reserve the right to use any carrier.

For item over 70 lbs:

Pools, Foosball tables, Air Hockey etc. are shipped via Freight Carrier on a pallet. We will contact you when we receive the order to confirm all shipping information. Once the game has shipped and arrives at the delivery terminal, the Freight Carrier will contact you to set up a 3-4 hour window for delivery. All games are delivered with a liftgate service and the driver will place the item in your driveway.  (They may place it in your garage, but are not required to do so.)

  • Shipments To Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and US Territories

    • We are happy to ship to one of these areas but unfortunately additional shipping may be charged. To see the cost to ship to one of these areas, add a product to your cart and go through the checkout process. Costs are determined by your exact location. All shipments to one of these areas will also ship within 3 business days. In most cases, your order will leave our warehouse within 1 business day.
