Rio Grande Games - Dvonn


DVONN is played on an elongated hexagonal board, with 23 white, 23 black and 3 red DVONN-pieces. In the beginning the board is empty. The players first place the DVONN-pieces on the board and next to their own pieces. Then they start stacking pieces on top of each other. A single piece may be moved 1 space in any direction, a stack of two pieces may be moved two spaces, etc. A stack must always be moved as a whole and a move must always end on top of another piece or stack. If pieces or stacks lose contact with the DVONN-pieces, they must be removed from the board. The game ends when no more moves can be made. The players put the stacks they control on top of each other and the one with the highest stack is the winner.

General Shipping

All shipments within the contiguous USA are free for any order over $99.99. For all other items, standard shipping prices apply. Generally, orders placed with us will leave our warehouse within one business day. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, an order will take up to three to five business days to ship. If this happens we will be sure to contact you and let you know when your item will ship. Although your item may ship out immediately it may take longer than that to receive your tracking number. Tracking numbers will be sent to you via email as soon as that information becomes available to us. Generally, we will ship all orders via UPS. We reserve the right to use any carrier.

For item over 70 lbs:

Pools, Foosball tables, Air Hockey etc. are shipped via Freight Carrier on a pallet. We will contact you when we receive the order to confirm all shipping information. Once the game has shipped and arrives at the delivery terminal, the Freight Carrier will contact you to set up a 3-4 hour window for delivery. All games are delivered with a liftgate service and the driver will place the item in your driveway.  (They may place it in your garage, but are not required to do so.)

  • Free Shipping only applies to orders in the contiguous United States.


  • Shipments To Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and US Territories

    • We are happy to ship to one of these areas but unfortunately additional shipping may be charged. To see the cost to ship to one of these areas, add a product to your cart and go through the checkout process. Costs are determined by your exact location. All shipments to one of these areas will also ship within 3 business days. In most cases, your order will leave our warehouse within 1 business day.
